North Bar Lake & Lake Michigan Access

North Bar Lake is located in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and is a shallow, clear water with sandy bottom. There is a small outlet to Lake Michigan and an established trail to the Lake Michigan beach. There is a large parking lot with restrooms which can be used for changing. And, if you forgot to buy your Lakeshore Pass, there is a Self-Service Envelope system available.
