School Lake

This School Lake access is located in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and is the biggest inland lake in the Park. There is a good boat ramp, though no motorized boats are allowed, and restroom facilities. The beach is small, but the lake bottom is sandy for wading and swimming. School Lake and Bass Lake are connected by a shallow channel, which makes it possible for canoes and kayaks to get from one lake to the other.
