Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail Empire Trailhead

Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail Empire Trailhead is located just north of the Village of Empire in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The trail is handicap accessible and is designed for walking, bicycling, running, cross country skiing, wheelchairs, and strollers. Some stretches of the Trail have steep grades, and are noted on trailhead signs and marked with warning signs.
