This preserve is 83 acres with 2,000 feet of shoreline on Little Traverse Lake and two distinct wetland communities critical to wildlife and the health of the lake. There is a 3/4 mile trail with a boardwalk that winds through cedar forest, over two cold groundwater streams where brook trout spawn, and down to Little Traverse Lake.
